Mellon Foundation gifts $15 million grant to UC’s promoting faculty diversity

This new 15 million dollar grant will support the President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (PPFP) in expanding the number of PPFP fellowships at UC and establish a program for hiring faculty whose research and teaching emphasizes diversity and equity in the humanities.

Many grad programs waive GRE requirement due to COVID-19.

Due to limited access to testing, many UC Davis graduate programs have waived the GRE requirement for admission consideration for fall 2021. In addition to about 1/3 of grad programs that do not require GRE scores, many have joined the ranks temporarily for fall 2021, due to current COVID 19 pandemic.
