The AMIGA Toolkit, A Resource for Holistic Review

On the AMIGA website you will find a focused resource for holistic review in the Toolkit. Holistic review is the in-depth consideration and contextualization of quantitative and qualitative metrics that include coursework, research experience, contribution to diversity and personal attributes, motivations, values and experiences. The Toolkit is a “playbook” for faculty to adopt holistic review admissions methods that are equitable and inclusive for all applicants. The AMIGA project supports holistic review methods that can potentially increase the number of students in admitted into graduate programs who are first generation college, from underserved communities or are historically underrepresented.
